Kindergarten Graduation

Taylor my little graduate.
Taylor reading her fact on insects.
Taylor and her classmates, singing the Star Song... "I'm a little star shinning bright, growing bigger every night. When I finish kindergarten, I will shout I'm a star, so you better watch out!"
You know Mommy bawled on that!

They made their ladybug hats themselves, and sang the ladybug song, about the grumpy ladybug who wants all the aphids for himself.

They also sang "I'm leaving today, for first grade.." Sung to the New York, New York tune.
Mommy cried during this one too!

Taylor is about to receive her diploma.

Mommy and her little graduate.

Taylor was giving the award for best craftmanship, because her work is almost perfect, her writing is the best in the class. This is her with her diploma and "her favorite teacher in the whole world.

My friend Jodie made this cake for the class. It was so cute and very delicious. The theme this year was bugs, gardens and animals. So, the cake was a perfect way to end the year.

Mother's Day Camping Trip

We had such a fantastic time...here we are enjoying our time together!
Taylor by the creek~
Maddelyn by the creek
Lydia being silly ... but still as cute as a button!
Daddy actually smiling~ boy was that water moving fast, and it was freezing water!
Daddy wearing Lydia's hat!
Me and my two older campers!
Taylor took this one of us - there wasn't any one to take one of all of us together!

I took a chance and bought some corn at the store, before leaving town. It is the first corn on the cob we've seen out here. But it was great! I think Maddy single handedly ate 3 entire ears. She loved it~

This campground was totally created for kids...it had an outdoor and indoor pool and a miniature golf course. Maddy didn't play golf, but she still had a good time. She wore that hat for most of the trip, even when it was hot outside. Maybe she just forgot it was on??
There was this cool little town, that the kids could play inside of and in, it was really cool.
The beauty of God's world and two of my most precious gifts!
On our hike, by the creek. See Taylor's walking stick, she had to have one just like her Daddy!
A really cool bridge to take you to the other side of the creek.
Maddy likes being in the pack, even when we weren't hiking she would go over to the pack and say "ride" and daddy would put her in it and give her a ride, while he did whatever it was that he did!
Taylor is quite a perfectionist, and she was struggling to get her marshmallow roasted to perfection, rather than torching it...so daddy gave her lessons. She is so funny though, she has to wash her hands after each one, she hates to be sticky for one minute.
+The lessons on roasting marshmallows. They are both so serious!
Maddy has enjoyed some smores, can you tell?
Daddy enjoyed some smores, can you tell?
What a wonderful camping trip for Mother's Day weekend.
I couldn't have asked for a better gift!
